HOW DO YOU KEEP ME UP TO DATE WITH MY CHILD?
I use a clever piece of software called Baby's Days which allows parents to securely connect and see their child's daily notes, sleep times, feeding records, progress achievements, photos and videos, and more! You'll also be able to upload observations, photos, and videos from home, if you wish.

This system is great because it helps me form a partnership with you, which is important. You'll be able to see everything about your child's early years development and view their daily notes. You'll also be able to see their progress and achievements, as well as read and sign policies and contracts online.

Overall, this system is a great way to stay connected and informed about your child while they're in my care.
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS SICK?
WHAT IF WE GO ON HOLIDAY?
If my setting is open and you are scheduled to attend and go on holiday, the full fee applies. Should I have scheduled holiday I will always give at least 2 weeks notice to allow for alternative arrangements to be made. In this regard, any days missed will not be chargeable and carried over.
WHAT IS THE SETTLING IN PROCESS?
It can be slightly daunting for parents when thinking about leaving their child with someone new. It can also be the same for children - that's why I take every step possible to ensure they are comfortable in their new setting which will also put your mind at ease! Together, we will work on a settling in plan that suits your child's needs, best.
DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENTS FROM THE TAX-FREE CHILDCARE SCHEME?
Yes, payment can be made directly via your tax-free account.

If you're a working parent, there are ways to get help with childcare costs. The government offers financial support through tax credits and other flexible working arrangements. You may be eligible for Child Tax Credit if you have a child living with you, or Working Tax Credit if you work but have low income. Additionally, if you work and pay for childcare, you may receive extra tax credits to help with expenses.
The government will contribute £2 for every £8 you pay for childcare through an online account for your child. Just be sure to check your eligibility before setting up the account. For further clarification on eligibility and how it works, please visit the GOV website by clicking here
HOW DO I SECURE MY CHILDS PLACEMENT WITH YOU?
Once we have met, agreed terms and a contract has been signed, a month's fees in advance will be required, as a deposit to hold your child's placement. This deposit will be used as your first month's payment.
DO YOU CATER TO SPECIAL DIETRY REQUIREMENTS?
I do cater to special dietary requirements. I understand the importance of providing healthy and nutritious meals that meet the specific needs of each child. I work with parents to ensure that I am aware of any food allergies or sensitivities and make the necessary arrangements to accommodate these requirements. I always ensure that I have the right ingredients on hand and prepare meals that are safe, delicious and suitable for each child.
